Bulk Beef Orders
HALF OR WHOLE BEEF ORDERS
When you place an order with us, we will try to give you a date when it will go to the meat processor. We require a down payment of $500.00 for half an order and $1,000 for a full order. When the cow is taken to the processor, we will call you to get instruction on how you want your beef cut.
The beef will then dry-age in a climate controlled cooler for 7-10 days before being cut. This helps to ensure the beef is nice and tender. After the meat has dry-aged, the processor will begin cutting, packaging and freezing your meat. This process takes another 2 to 3 days.
You will pick up your meat from the processor and at that time we ask that you pay them for the processing of your beef. We also require the final payment to Kayser Ranch for the beef.
COST OF ORDERING BEEF
The cost is $4.00/lb hanging weight depending on the amount ordered. This does not include the processing which is about $0.45 per pound. The hanging weight is the weight of the carcass before it is processed in individual cuts of meat. Your take home weight will be about 30% less depending on the cut of meat you get.

FAQ
The first step is to leave a deposit for the size order you want. We use PayPal as our credit card processor. You do not have to have an account with PayPal nor will you be required to create an account if you do not want one with PayPal. I have provided a link above for a whole order and a half order.
Once your deposit is received, you will receive an email from us letting you know when your slaughter date is and what you can expect. I will also attach a cut sheet so you can begin thinking about how you would like your meat cut. At this time, a tag number from our heard of available cows will be assigned to your purchase order.
When the cows are delivered to the processor, we provide them with the tag number(s) of the cows coming in and the contact information of you, the buyer.
Within 2 or 3 days upon the delivery of the cows, you can expect a call from the processor. during the call, the processor will ask several questions about how you would like your meat cut and they will assist you in making the correct choices. Before the call, please have an idea of how thick you would like your steaks cut.
Final payment is due to Kayser Ranch prior to your pickup date. We will send your final invoice once the final hanging weight is obtained. The processor will require their fee of $0.45 per pound of hanging weight when meat is picked up.

Our cows are raised in open pasture and their diet consists of forage in the pasture. Our cows are offered additional minerals for supplemental purposes.
